CABRABOC PALO DE MALLORCA
CABRABOC goes back to its roots. It is one of Mallorca’s oldest aperitifs. Like so many other liqueurs, it was originally conceived as a medicinal syrup. Made from gentian root and cinchona bark, this syrup was widely used in the 17th century against malaria in Mallorca. The addition of sugar to improve the taste and alcohol for better preservation led to the birth of palo as it is known today.
